Enabling Managers to Lead from the Middle.

Now more than ever, you need middle managers who are able to lead people just as effectively as they are able to manage processes. Your managers must be able to:

  • Initiate and drive change
  • Inspire and engage employees
  • Develop and execute strategy

Developing a strong middle management leader can takes years of hits and misses. LX is designed to accelerate this process through an immersive five day leadership program in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It combines leadership workshops with a volunteer experience and fundraising campaign to equip participants with practical knowledge and field tested leadership skills. Participants walk away with the confidence to step up and lead.

Leadership Development through Real Action.

Program Overview

Leadership Development through Real Action

Leadership Workshops

Immersive workshops that explore new leadership concepts and examine common challenges in applying leadership best practices at work.

A Volunteer Trip

Participants visit rural villages to meet low income families and build water filters. They study Cambodia’s water crisis in the context of a leadership case study.

The Project

Participants put new leadership knowledge to practice by launching a personal fundraising campaign for clean water projects in rural Cambodia.

Why volunteer and fundraise?

The visit to poverty stricken rural villages is life changing. Participants see for themselves what poverty looks like. The deep insight participants gain from this experience offers them the unique opportunity to study leadership frameworks and concepts in the context of addressing poverty in Cambodia.

The trip also inspires participants to create change through personal fundraising campaigns. Fundraising is difficult and uncomfortable which makes it the perfect platform for developing leaders. It pushes participants to step outside of their comfort zone. Through the fundraising experience, participants experience the importance of taking initiative, finding courage and demonstrating grit.
